Monday music madness!

Dear <every local radio station>,

Please don’t sue me for taking your clever alliteration, I’m only trying to make Mondays a little more bearable by getting good music stuck in your head.

First up, heres the RAMONES with an appropriate song for a Monday: “I wanna be sedated”.

However, it is not a song about having a case of the Mondays, rather it is about when they were stuck in their London hotel with, as the song goes “Nothing to do, nowhere to go”, however, I had also heard that in the events of this, a makeshift humidifier had blown up in one of the band member’s face.

Next, we have the Beatles, with “Octopus’ Garden”.

This song is rather relaxing and filled with rich imagery, theres no way you could feel angry listening to this song. Theres just so much about this song that I like, I can’t begin to explain it.

Finally, we have Cake with “Love you madly”

Another awesome song, and everyone likes Cake. Theres just something about the cryptic, almost nonsensical lyrics, the awesome guitar riffs, and, a rarity for any rock band these days, a trumpet. The lyrics pretty much say what everyone is thinking, but too shy to say, making it something that anyone can relate to.
